We began with a popular series of Vivaldi’s "Four Seasons" in Vienna’s Peterskirche, chosen so the audience could experience the composer’s masterpiece in a church he knew, led with charismatic moderation to provide further historical context and insight. Other recent projects include a concertant version of Mozart’s opera die Entführung aus dem Serail reimagined as a storybook narration to update the dialogue, as well as Russo-Ukrainian orchestral concert with star composer-performers Teodore Doré (Ukraine) and Yury Revich (Russia) to use music as a contemporary vehicle for peace, all of which took place in the Wiener Musikverein.
Exodus interprets all kinds of classical music — chamber, orchestral, operatic, choral — of the highest quality with a modern perspective. The basis of our live shows is always the music: whatever else we present onstage grows out of the musical notes themselves. A typical Exodus concert pairs classical masterpieces with a non-musical aspect to enhance the audience’s experience.
